Sports festival to be held in Gwadar to decorate CPEC

It is reported that in celebration of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC),  a sports festival will be organized in Gwadar, is to be planned with a series of sports activities. Four hundred athletes from 45 countries will come to Pakistan for the event, cultural sports of Pakistan and China will enhance the prestige of the festival. Sports ministers from some thirty countries are also being invited to the event.

CPEC of Great Importance to China-Pakistan Ties: Xi Jinping tells Pakistan Prez Arif Alvi

President Xi Jinping on Friday described the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) as a landmark project under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and said it is of great importance to promoting in-depth development of the all-weather strategic cooperative partnership between the two countries.

Xi, also General Secretary of the ruling Communist Party of China, made the remarks in a verbal message to Pakistani President Arif Alvi, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.

Political parties unite to support ‘game-changer’ CPEC

Political parties representing both the government and the opposition, have united and agreed to “preserve, protect and promote” the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) above party lines, stressing that the mega project was a “game changer and a guarantor of a better tomorrow for the country. Representatives from nine political parties participated in the second conference of the CPEC Political Parties Joint Consultation Mechanism (JCM) organised by the International Department of the Communist Party of China (IDCPC), in collaboration with the Pakistan-China Institute.

China-Pakistan to commence master plan to boost agricultural cooperation under CPEC

The diplomats and experts from Iran and Pakistan, during a webinar, asserted that cooperation between Iran’s Chabahar and Pakistan’s Gwadar ports would enhance ties between two countries. The Iranian diplomats underlined the significance of cooperation between the private sectors of the two countries and said that Chabahar-Gwadar connectivity would promote regional integration. They expressed willingness to join CPEC while Pakistani experts underlined Iran’s joining CPEC would further strengthen cooperation between Iran-China.

Diplomats call for strong links between Chabahar, Gwadar port

According to a report published by Gwadar Pro, the cooperation between Iran’s Chabahar and Pakistan’s Gwadar ports would enhance ties between the two countries. During the“Iran-Pakistan Economic Partnership in the Post-Corona era” hosted by Golden Ring Economic Federation (GREF),  they stressed the use of capacities of regional economic organizations to strengthen bilateral and multilateral relations.
