PM Khan inaugurates Havelian-Thakot Section of Hazara Motorway

Rarely mentioned in the conversations and news stories are the transport links that are being created as part of CPEC’s transformational legacy. The Hazara motorway is an integral part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project which will serve as the central route for commercial export and import traffic between China and Pakistan. Prime Minister Khan addressed the inaugural ceremony of Havelian-Thakot section of Hazra Motorway which is also known as the E-35 Expressway.

China to invest $10 bn in Oil and Gas sector under CPEC: Khusro Bakhtiar

China is ready to invest $10 billion in the oil and gas sector along with $4 billion in local steel sector under CPEC. Elsewhere, The Planning Minister of Pakistan,  Khusro Bakhtyar also spoke about the approval of $9 billion ML-I railway project’s financing also under CPEC, while addressing the 3rd annual two-day conference on CPEC Consortium of Universities in Islamabad. The Chinese government is also investing one billion dollars in socio-economic sector in two years including cooperation in higher education and the enrollment of students for scholarships.
